Inevitably OSX will change thanks to brining Intel into the equation. How do you think it will change? Predictions?

In response to Inevitably OSX will change thanks to brining Intel into the equ posted by seeemilywrite:

Having only used a Mac very briefly during a college internship years ago, I'm not that familiar with the systems. Why do you say change is "inevitable" because of Intel? Is it because that's what allows Windows on the Macs now? (Pardon my naivity.) And if that is the case, do you really thing Windows will force a lot changes in OSX? Aren't most Mac users pretty much anti-MS anyway? So why would they want to switch to Windows? That might be way off base, but I'm still curious as to why having Windows available is such a big deal, other than some compatibility issues. happy
