When you leave your valuables unattended you usually lock them up right? With the price of ipods in some cases over $300 it seems only logical you should want to lock up your iPod as well.
One company has created The Pod Safe, a combination lock for your iPod that works somewhat like a bike lock. With the Pod Safe you can lock your iPod securely to your desk when you walk away making it harder for would be thieves to walk away with your iPod.
The Pod Safe has several different sizes and colors for the iPod, iPod Video, and iPod Nano.
How many of could actually use a Pod safe? When I first read about these I thought the idea was a little crazy. The more I think about it the more it makes sense however. I could actually see the logic in buying one of these for a child ho insists on taking their id with with to school. With a Pod Safe you could secure the iPod to the child's book bag and not only would it be safer against kids with sticky fingers it will also be more difficult for your child to drop it or accidentally leave it behind somewhere.
