Apple released a white and a black version of their new MacBook. One out preforms the other, and you'll never guess which one...

When apple released their new MacBook they released two different versions of the computer, On in white the other in black. There's more differences between these two computers than just color.

For the most part the main differences between the two models is the case color, the hard drive, and of course the price. The black Macbook sporting a 80GB 5,400-rpm hard drive and the white version a 60GB 5,400-rpm.

MacWorld id some product tests on both the white and black versions of the MacBook and had some surprising results making the less expensive white MacBook look a little more attractive than the black version.

Reading that article raises some interesting questions. The two laptops are constructed almost identically except for the color of their case and the size of their hard drive, so why would one out perform the other? More importantly why would the one outperforming be the computer with the smaller hard drive?
