School is back in session and the Apple Store for Educations doors are open.
Did you know that if you are in school Apple will give you a discount on your computer?
Don't get too excited, the discount only applies to college and university students, college or university faculty and administration, K-12 teachers and staff, and some home schoolers.
Students can purchase discounted computers, software and are eligible to receive a free iPod with any computer purchase. Discounts range from $50 on software to several hundred dollars on whole computer systems. Students are limited in the amount of computers they can purchase in a given school year.
The education discount is only valid when you're enrolled in school so if you're in your last years and thinking about purchasing a Mac now is the time to do it.
