At approximately 6pm this evening Apple will open its newest retail store on fifth avenue in New York City. This particular store opening has gotten tons of buzz from the media. There are Apple stores everywhere right? So what makes this apple stores opening any different than all the rest?
It's shaped like a giant cube
Yeah, I said it. Giant cube. The Fifth Avenue Apple store is in the shape of a 32 foot glass cube.
It's open 24 hours
I know you thought the only place you could go at 2am was the Waffle House or Wal-Mart. The Apple store will be open 24 hours a day, so you can shop around the clock. Their round the clock hours make them one of the few computer stores in the country where you could purchase a computer overnight.
Tons To Try Out
The store has over 100 Macs and over 200 ipods for customers to play with in store before deciding to make a purchase.
Huge Staff
The Fifth Ave Apple store has over 300 different employees. With that many people on staff, it will be pretty hard for you to not be able to find knowledgable help when you need it.
